Who we are
Orbital Four is an independent entertainment application. Contact: engineering@arkhe-technologic.com.
What information is processed
- Guest identity: a browser-generated client id and a display callsign you choose (stored in your browser session storage).
- Room codes & public match references: six-character invite codes and opaque room identifiers used to join or describe a table.
- Seat capabilities: seat tokens that authorize your seat. These are held in your browser session and on the authoritative service — they must never be shared in invite links, chat, or screenshots.
- Gameplay commands & authoritative state: moves, ready/resign/draw/leave/rematch, preset signals, board state, generation and version fencing required for fair play.
- Reconnect / session information: enough state to resume a room or Quick Match ticket after a refresh while the room or ticket is still live.
- Preset communications: short fixed phrases only (for example GOOD LUCK). There is no free-text chat.
- Reports: if you use the in-app report flow, the application currently has no durable report store. Optional notes are only sent if you choose the email fallback to engineering@arkhe-technologic.com.
- X / OAuth identity (if you sign in): when authentication is enabled and you connect an account, the provider may supply a stable user id and a public handle. That identity is optional for play; guest play does not require it. X authentication establishes identity only — it does not replace seat authorization.
- Technical logs: request timing, error codes, and security-related signals needed for reliability and abuse resistance.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use advertising trackers or sell ads against your play data.
- We do not intentionally expose authentication tokens, seat capabilities, Workflow hook tokens, OAuth tokens, or internal server state in the public UI.
- We do not collect a birth date or identity documents for the age acknowledgement — only policy version and acknowledgement time are recorded in your browser.
Infrastructure providers
Depending on deployment, network requests and authoritative room/queue workflows may be processed by hosting and edge providers such as Vercel (application hosting and Workflow authority). DNS or CDN providers may appear in the request path. Browser storage remains on your device. Provider-specific subprocessors may change with the hosting environment.
Retention
- Waiting rooms: about 15 minutes without progression.
- Active rooms idle: about 30 minutes without activity.
- Finished matches: about 1 hour after completion.
- Matchmaking tickets: about 2 minutes if unmatched.
- Communications: Up to 8 recent preset signals are retained with the room and expire with finished-match retention (1 hour). Rate limit: one preset signal per seat about every 3 seconds.
- Reports: No durable in-app report store is currently implemented. If you use the email fallback, retention follows ordinary email handling by the recipient — nothing is stored by the application until durable report storage is available.
- Security / reliability logs: Retained only as long as operationally necessary; the exact automated deletion period is still being finalized.
Age
Orbital Four is intended for players aged 13 and older. Quick Match requires an acknowledgement that you meet this minimum age under the current policy version.
Your choices
You can leave a room, cancel matchmaking, clear browser session storage, and (when enabled) sign out of an optional account session. Clearing browser storage removes local guest and acknowledgement records on that device.
